Jean-Marc Roulot is now regarded as one of the masters of Burgundy peanuts.
With an almost obsessive detail, he manages to transcend other wines, transforming them into wines of purity, vibrancy and unparalleled freshness. For him, grapes need to be picked at the right time: not too early, not too late.
In addition to terroir, he hopes to hone his own personal style and "bring the tightness back into the bottle."
His wines also show focus and restraint. Their elegance and stunning precision enable long-term aging in the cellar.
Jean-Marc loved cooking and believed the small and fresh acidity in his wines paired perfectly with food.

A country-level wine from its production area. Generally speaking, a good first growth or even a village Meursault (Chardonnay) will have aromas of lemon peel, tropical fruits, gravel, spices and hazelnuts.
On the palate it has wonderful balance, brightness and an alluring finish with notes of white peach, pineapple and citrus.
